Wave Passport

How to enroll

Tap. Unlock. Done.

Once the app is installed, enrolling takes about a minute. Pick whichever method your facility gave you below — either one ties your access to this phone, so your membership can’t be shared. Don’t have the app yet? Get it here first.

Method 2 · Provider code

Enter your provider code

Your membership provider emailed you a Site ID and Client ID.

  1. Open Wave Passport on your phone.
  2. Tap Have a provider code instead?
  3. Enter the Site ID and Client ID from your welcome email.
  4. Tap Enroll This Device. You’re in.

Each code enrolls one device on a first-come basis. If it says your membership is already active on another device, see “Got a new phone?” below.

Good to know

Your watch pairs automatically

Install Wave Passport on your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch and keep it paired to your phone — the credential syncs to the wrist on its own after you enroll the phone. No separate code to enter. Need the watch app? Get it here.

Got a new phone?

Your access lives on one device at a time. Ask your facility to release your old device, then enroll the new one with either method above. (There’s no self-service takeover — this is what keeps a membership from being passed around.)

Why only one device?

Wave Passport never stores a shareable member number. The unlock key is generated on your phone the moment you enroll, so access can’t be copied, screenshotted, or forwarded.

For facility operators

Manage member access from the Mobile Devices page in your Wave Passport door admin. Each member’s access is tied to one device at a time — you stay in control of who’s active.

Revoke & replace

Revoke or move a device

Member left, lost their phone, or got a new one.

  1. On the Mobile Devices page, find the member — their phone shows under Active devices.
  2. Tap Revoke on that device and confirm. Access is pulled immediately and the device moves to Revoked devices.
  3. New phone? Once the old device is revoked, just issue access again (steps at left). The member re-enrolls on the new phone.

Revoking frees the member’s membership so it can be claimed on a new device — there’s no member-side takeover, so a lost phone can’t keep access.

Members stuck enrolling? Re-issue their QR code or provider code from the Mobile Devices page. Operators needing door admin access — contact Passport Technologies.
